Fire restriction start set

FIRE restrictions will be in force across the Loddon Shire and four other north-west municipalities from Monday November 9.

CFA North West Region Deputy Chief Officer, Trevor Weston, said now was the time for residents to make sure they were prepared.

“Significant winter rainfall has led to strong grass growth and heavy crop loads across parts of the North West, leaving more vegetation on the landscape than we would typically see at this time of year,” Trevor said.
