ALIZA Lockhart was a telling player in goal attack for Wedderburn in Saturday’s North Central football clash against Boort where Emma Darker played tight all game on her opponent.
The traditional Loddon rivals put on fast and furious displays with both clubs priming themselves for the finals’ series next month.
The Redbacks have gone through the season so far undefeated while Boort, after overcoming some mid-season challenges, is nearing the form that stamped the club as a genuine challenger in opening rounds.
Lockhart was named as Wedderburn’s best that saw the Redbacks finally gain ascendency in the second half.
