Family's seventh generation

THE Wilson family spent the weekend in the paddocks of their Kurting farm air-sowing summer crops “at the ideal time”.

And joining Brett Wilson were his children Mason, Abby, Edmund and Xander - the seventh generation on the farm.

Grandfather Geoff said the youngsters were also the sixth generation to attend the Kurting school - the building now at Inglewood Primary School.

Brett is sowing 500 hectares of barley that will eventually be sold to Southern Stockfeed in Bridgewater and is about half-way through the sowing program.
