Explorer starts latest drlling program
FALCON Metals has started its latest program of aircore drilling.
The mining exploration company started drilling in the past fortnight with priority targets under Murray Basin cover, including both infill and reconnaissance aircore drilling, as well as possible diamond drilling of more advanced targets to be considered later in the program.
It said drilling areas included the Loddon Vale, Pyramid Hill, and Tasman Reef targets and the first systematic reconnaissance aircore drilling to the north of Raywood, located about 10km northwest of Tasman Reef.
Falcon told the ASX last week that it continued to assess its options to achieve an amicable solution with the Mysia landowners at Farrelly Prospect to undertake the next phase of low impact exploration for mineral sands.
In early 2024, Falcon discovered the high-grade Farrelly mineral sands deposit, which shows favourable mineralogical and processing characteristics.
However, landowners have refused to talk with the company and Victorian Mining Warden.
