SANTA has made a last-minute dash into the Loddon this afternoon ahead of his busiest night of the year.
The jolly chap in the red suit gave an exclusive interview to the Loddon Herald as he delivered lollies and coolicy-poles to youngsters in Bridgewater on his Christmas Eve tour that includes Korong Vale and Pyramid Hill.
In the interview, Santa said he had many good helpers to make all the deliveries and was not expecting any obstacles from kangaroos as the reindeers take him through the sky.
However, he does have one eye on the weather. The forecast is for overnight rain, something Santa told us the reindeers don't like.
And he says boys and girls have all been good this year and could look forward to presents.
