Entries have rinks at capacity
WEDDERBURN’S 102nd annual Easter Bowls Tournament has attracted a full field of 180 entrants over three days of events.

The tournament begins yesterday from midday, with pairs competition.
Organiser Lance Standfield said all 10 rinks at the club would be in play each day.
Triples will be played tomorrow, Good Friday, with Gold Letter fours events on Sunday.
On Friday and Saturday, play will begin at 9.30am. Entries have come from all over Victoria for the tournament, which used to be run over a full seven-day schedule.
The volunteer-run event was booked out three weeks ago, and Standfield said nobody had indicated that they might be late withdrawals because of fuel price and availability concerns.
Australian Neil Dalrymple, the CEO of World Bowls, played in the event in 2024 and declared it to be one of the best tournaments in which he had taken part.
