EDUCATION CELEBRATION: Pride for the superheroes
PYRAMID Hill College’s Year 10 Dinner had students looking terrific and delivering their farewell speeches beautifully.

Principal Fiona Moon said the students should be incredibly proud of themselves, as were their families and Pyramid Hill College.
The theme, ‘Super Heroes’, was very well received, and the introduction of their character names and traits set the tone for a memorable night. Year 10 Homeroom teacher Kelly Gould, introduced the masked characters and as each student’s achievements were recognised, they shared heartfelt and thoughtful farewell speeches.
“We wish our Year 10s all the very best as they move to the next stage of their education or into the world of employment,” said Mrs Moon. “We will miss our Class of 2025, but we encourage them to stay in touch—we look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”

Celebrating growth
Pyramid Hill College celebrated the graduation of its Year 6 students with a special luncheon to mark the completion of their primary school years.
Five students - Lillian Broad, Harry Cain, Xanthe Farrar, Ize Pantig and Matt Policarpio - proudly graduated from primary school, each presenting a short and heartfelt speech to their parents, teachers, and invited guests. The students celebrated in fine style, enjoying a delicious lunch generously provided by the college. Year 6 teacher, Mr Nick O’Connor, acknowledged the individual achievements of each member of the Year 6 cohort, highlighting their growth, efforts, and contributions throughout their time in primary school.
A photo presentation showcasing memories from the students’ early years through to Year 6 was shared, prompting smiles, laughter, and reflection among families and staff.
The celebration concluded with students being presented with a signature bear to commemorate this important milestone.
Mrs Moon said the luncheon was a wonderful celebration of achievement, growth, and the strong partnerships between students, families, and Pyramid Hill College.
