EDUCATION CELEBRATION: Kindness and resilience
AS THE 2025 school year draws to a close, Inglewood Primary School proudly celebrates the achievements of our remarkable Grade 6 students.

Principal Rebecca Luckman says this cohort has demonstrated exceptional leadership, kindness, resilience and personal growth throughout their years at Inglewood Primary School.
Their impact on our school community has been significant, and it has been an absolute pleasure watching each of them grow into confident, capable and caring young people.
Throughout the year, Grade 6s have taken on a range of responsibilities, with many elected to Junior School Council. They have contributed to meaningful projects, including school improvements, community initiatives and student-led activities.
Their enthusiasm and commitment have been evident in everything they do, and they have set a high standard for our younger students to follow.
As they prepare to take their next steps into secondary school, the school has thanked them for the joy, leadership and positivity they have brought to Inglewood Primary School. “We congratulate them on their achievements and wish each of them every success in the exciting years ahead.”
Individual highlights include Skyla Noonan who is a dedicated and hardworking student who has consistently excelled academically. This year she was voted president of the Junior School Council. Ruby-Sue Lawson was elected vice-president of JSC and is a wonderful example of our school value Be Kind. She consistently supported her peers, strived to achieve her personal best and showed a strong commitment to her learning.
Jed Paton lives the school value Be Kind every day. He is known for including others in play, making sure no one is left out, and going out of his way to make others feel welcome. Although a quiet achiever, Jed has shown tremendous growth this year. He is also a young entrepreneur, having started several small businesses during his time at IPS.
Xave Rowan had an incredible journey of self-growth during his time at IPS. He has tackled challenges with courage and persistence, developing strong friendships and stepping up when it mattered most. This year, he was elected treasurer of the JSC and excelled in the role.
Mollie was secretary of the JSC and has been a wonderful addition to the school, even though she did not complete all of her primary years at IPS. She has formed strong friendships and quickly became an important part of our school community. Mollie consistently demonstrates our school values; she is polite, cheerful and hardworking.
Shelbie Brereton is a delightful student who has loved school from her very first day of Prep. She approaches learning with enthusiasm and joy. Shelbie is also a fantastic role model to younger students, always happy to help, teach and support.
Adelle Sheahan is a bright and engaging student who joined us this year. Although she was absent at times, whenever she was at school she amazed us with her impressive literacy skills, friendly nature and genuine love of life.
