EDUCATION CELEBRATION: Focus helps all students

BOORT District School, from Foundation to Year 12 has continued to provide the best educational opportunities for its students throughout the year including wonderful and engaging learning experiences, extra-curricular activities, and community events enjoyed by our students.

“Our staff have worked collaboratively to deliver a high-quality curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, in order to achieve excellent educational outcomes for every student,” said principal Todd Woodfine.

“I would like to thank our school captains, Sienna Boyd, Jasmine Twigg and Harry Malone who have displayed outstanding leadership skills and have been active role models for our school community throughout this year.

“You should be very proud of the way you have worked together and represented our school on numerous occasions throughout the year.

“I would also like to acknowledge our 2026 school captains, Eliana Haw, Dempsey Lee and Sidney Caine who will provide strong leadership for our student body and represent our school at community events throughout next year.”

The school also acknowledged the consistent involvement and support of parents and the community in providing a well-rounded program that exposes students to all the things that make regional communities thrive.
