BOORT was in a triumphant mood for its first home game of the 2024 season.
The club unveiled the premiership pennant for last year’s victorious C Grade side and officially opened the refurbished courts. The honour of cutting the ribbon was given to club and North Central association life member Margaret Nelson.
President Roxy Train thanked Loddon Shire and Graincorp for support in financing the project.
Watching on from a special VIP marquee were three other club members, Heather Jeffries, Marj Potter and Kristen Gooding.
The club’s other life members Judy Parker and Leanne Moresi were unable to attend the celebrations at the clash against Charlton under lights.
