Pyramid Hill has booked its second semi-final berth after breaking clear of Bears Lagoon Serpentine after quarter time in today's Loddon Valley league qualifying finals.
The Bears started in blitzing fashion FORPyramid Hill, bolstered with the return of several key players including Brodie Carroll, settled and held a slender two-point lead at quarter time.
After that first break huddle, the Bulldogs piled on 12 goals. Carroll ended the Day with two and was named their best as he set up play that had the Bulldogs with better ball movement and defenders limiting the Bears to just two goals in three quarters.
The final term was a lacklustre affair from both sides.
Pyramid Hill also defeated Bears Lagoon Serpentine in the reserves.
The Bulldogs will now meet defending premiers Marong in next Saturday's second semi-finals in the seniors reserves,
The Bears will play the winner of tomorrow's elimination finals in both grades
