THE site of a permanent ambulance station in Wedderburn is still to be selected.
Ambulance Victoria last year said it hoped to have the location chosen by February.
Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas and Ambulance Victoria CEO Jane Miller said this month an announcement would be made at a future time. Ambulance Victoria this week said it continued to work with the Wedderburn community and the Loddon Shire to ensure that ambulance services in the area “have the resources and facilities they need to continue to provide care into the future.”
However, the Loddon Shire agenda released yesterday for its meeting on Tuesday has an item for the sale of land to Ambulance Victoria.
The Loddon Herald will have further details next week.
