The biennial event has a rustic country theme.

After weeks of rehearsals the debutantes trained by Ms Joanne Dehne were formally presented to Loddon Mayor Dan Straub, college principal Fiona Moon and school council president Adam Caspani.

The evening was filled with poise and celebration as flowergirls Mae Stevens and Ruby Leerson charmed the crowd during the official presentation.

Mrs Moon said a large audience of family, friends and community members gathered to share in the special moment, applauding the grace and confidence of the young couples.

“A delicious country-style supper, generously prepared by community volunteers, completed the night — a fitting reflection of Pyramid Hill’s strong community spirit and support for local youth milestones,” she said.

“The debutante ball once again proved to be a highlight on the town’s social calendar, blending elegance, tradition and the warm heart of country hospitality.

The debutantes were: Sophie Gilmore (partnered by Kobi Manton), Cecily Farrar (Rylan Chislett), Dempsey Lee (Jed Stewart), Shamica Castro (Jack Gould), Alina Gould (Finlay Arnold), Michaella Reganit (Cohan Lobb), Chloe Stevens (James Hercott), Matilda Smith (William Hercott) and Eloise Walters (Blake Gibson).
