Crossing the exploration Bridge

THE Bridge community hub went on a journey of mineral exploration on Tuesday when guest speaker Angela Lorrigan shared stories of working with minerals.

The minister at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Bendigo and technical director with exploration company Aureka was at the Bridgewater church where district residents meet monthly for talks and activities.

Angela returned to work in Victoria five years ago, working on a number of local gold projects. This includes a strong association with Southern Cross Gold’s (SXG) Sunday Creek, Redcastle and Whroo Projects in Victoria over the past three years.

She began work in gold exploration in the Yilgarn in 1981, has been involved in both exploration and mine geology in gold and base metals in the Mt Isa district, New Zealand, New South Wales and Tasmania.
