Organiser Sue Brown said it had been a good year for their community morning teas held in Bridgewater’s Anglican Church, with a wide range of guest speakers attending.

“We’ve had Kevin Poyser and Betty Higgs talk about history, we had an information session on dementia, people from the Loddon Shire and more over the last year, which has been great,” Sue said.

“It gives people the chance to learn more about the community and to meet other people as well, while they enjoy a coffee and some morning tea. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend any of the sessions.”

Peter, the creator of Uncle Pete’s Famous Worm Juice, was happy to share his wealth of knowledge about worms.

“I always do a question and answer section after I give a talk, and I’ll answer as many questions as people want,” he said.

“I love what I do here,” Sue said, “We’re always happy to hear from people about guest speakers or topics they’d like to hear about, hopefully we’ll get some more suggestions from the community for next year.”

The Bridge plans to resume coffee mornings is February.
