COMMUNITY officers would remain an integral part of Ambulance Victoria’s Inglewood response capabilities, according to acting regional director Amelia Kohn.

Ms Kohn gave the undertaking on Monday when she announced the Inglewood station this month became the seventh since 2020 to be upgraded to dual paramedic crewing.

Two paramedics are now rostered in Inglewood 24 hours a day.

Her statement said Inglewood’s dedicated ACOs remained an integral part of the team.
