Collectors out doing their bit for the children
FIRE Brigades and Loddon youngsters will be out this morning rattling tins for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

FIRE Brigades and Loddon youngsters will be out tomorrow rattling tins for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Brigades in Inglewood, Bridgewater and Korong Vale have also been running raffles to boost their town totals.
Wedderburn brigade took to the streets on Tuesday night and again last night collecting for the appeal.
CFA brigades are this year marking 75 years of supporting the appeal.
Victorians last year donated a record $23,822,792.
The appeal started in 1931, the Children’s Hospital in Melbourne was at risk of closure due to soaring costs, overcrowding and under resourcing.
In 2025 a $3 million investment was funded to provide a boost to regional health services, supporting 41 Health Services across regional Victoria.
