Cobram signs binding deal on US sale
COBRAM Estate Olives has entered into a binding agreement to acquire US-based California Olive Ranch, the leading producer and marketer of Californian extra virgin olive oil.

The Australian company with the Southern Hemisphere’s largest olive oil processing plant at Boort made the announcement last week.
Joint CEOs Sam Beaton and Leandro Ravetti said the US Government’s anti-trust review had been completed, allowing Cobram to proceed with the purchase,
The sale is expected to be completed next week and the company says integration of California Olive Ranch into Cobram Estate will begin immediately.
Meanwhile, harvest at the large Boort grove is expected to start next month.
The company is planning a shareholder event at Boort during harvest.
Shareholders, expected to travel from across Australia, will be taken on a tour of the production plant.
The $35 million plant has been in operation since 2024.
