LODDON Darts Association has started its new season with players glad to be back in regular competition after two COVID-affected years.
Secretary Robert Day said: “We are missing a couple of regular teams but we are hoping they may return next season.
“In good news we have welcomed a new team and venue in Pyramid Hill. If there is anybody out there interested in playing darts or starting a new team please feel free to contact me or Robina Little,” he said.
Round 1: Chuckers d Gold Diggers 5-2. Roosters d Scullywags 6-1. Highlights: B Montebello 5 tons, R Day 4 Tons, J Griffin 3 tons, Ann McDonald first ton, Y Cashin 92 peg, A Noordennen 83 peg, J Platts 86 peg.
Round 2: Chuckers d Pyramid Hill 5-2, Gold diggers d Roosters 4-3. Highlights: R Day 6 tons, W Ford 5 tons, J Griffin 3 tons, Jesse Jones threw his first ton. W Ford 103 peg, S Formosa 60 peg.
