EMOTIONAL scenes er-upted at Wedderburn’s Donaldson Park on Sunday when favourite Chissy saluted judges in the 2022 Trotters’ Cup.

Chissy was driven by Ryan Sanderson, wearing the colours of harness racing legend Frank Evans who died last week aged 91.

And the seven-year-old gelding was trained by Jason McNaulty who bred the horse and was among many in the Wedderburn and St Arnaud districts who had been mentored by Evans.
