Labor has just announced one of 50 new co-located child care centres will be in the Loddon if it wins Sayurday's state election.
The anmouncement did not specify a town although Wedderburn has been campaigning for a centre at its college.
Premier Daniel Andrews said centres would open in 2025 and 2026.
The Coalition has pledged to co locate a centre at Wedderburn College within the $12.9 million upgrade budget.
