Carter's Legacy Ride - Refilling the fuel bladder
Postie bike rider Owen Rule checks in from Enngonia after the crew completed Day 4 of Carter's Legacy Ride honouring Carter Keeble and raising funds for Boort District Health

A 9am start to the day. Little ride back into town from the reservoir for fuel. Somehow I was nominated to be interviewed by ABC about the Legacy Ride. After nearly 45 minutes waiting for a call back and chatting turns out the interview will be 0845 Monday, so on the road.
North out of Cobar on another cool start sunny day headed towards Bourke where I found out Rhondda's range of 130km requiring a refill from the fuel bladder.
I've already found it fascinating that a port exists at outback Bourke on the Darling river 1495 river kilometres from Wentworth. Lovely spot for a lunch break.
The planned stop at Barringun just short of the Queensland border came to an abrupt stop while sampling and ale at the Enngonia pub with the offer of free camping in the backyard and free hot showers.
No incidents to report again today. Yay.
Thought for the day. Travelling our outback Australia, Rhondda screaming her little lungs, sorry lung, out pounding the pavement, cool breeze on the legs, sun on the face. Lucky to be alive.
Bit about Rhondda tomorrow.
Distrance travelled: 257km
