Car club drives Alive donations
TWO schools have received donations from Inglewood Car and Bike Club after members raised funds during the town’s major annual one-day festival.

President Mick Costanzo with members Lee Elliot and Peter Summers handed over $1000 cheques last week to Inglewood Primary School and St Mary’s Catholic School.
“Our show and shine in Brooke Street was again a highlight of Inglewood Alive last November,” Mr Costanzo said.
“Members wanted to help the community and decided this year to make donations to the two schools.”
Staff and students at both schools are now discussing how they will use the donation.
Inglewood principal Rebecca Luckman said: “. It was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise to receive the donation and it truly reflects the amazing spirit of our community.
“The club’s support will make a real difference and is greatly appreciated by everyone involved.”
Members of the club are now preparing for Easter Monday’s Rheola Charity Carnival where their vehicles will be among the day’s popular attractions with an estimated 4000 people again tipped to be at the event.
