Tents are being pitched at Loddon River campsites as Easter travellers arrive.

Campers and caravans are dotting areas and filling local caravan parks.

The weekend is expected to be Loddon's busiest in more than two years.

Traffic is also heavy on the Calder and Loddon Valley highways as other tourists head further north.

Police are patrolling roads over Easter to keep then safe.
