SHEARER Cameron Chalmers has followed up success at the Boort Show by clipping his way through 300 sheep last week.
It was Cameron’s first tally of 300 in one day came when on the boards at Stuart and Susan Gould’s Mysia property.
Cameron started with 77 first cross lambs in Thursday’s opening run with the shears.
“Seeing a consistent run of sheep in front of me, I decided to go for the milestone tally,” he said.
With the encouragement of the shearing team around him, Cameron achieved his 300 a little after 5pm.
“Cameron is a highly respected local shearer and it was notable that his 300th sheep was as neat and clean as his first,” said Stuart.
