BREWING of eucalyptus leaves will be swapped for tea this morning as Inglewood Eucalyptus Distillery Museum in a move to boost volunteer numbers at the popular tourist attraction.
Secretary Murray Baud said: “Our museum is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us continue welcoming visitors and sharing one of the Loddon region’s most unique stories.
“Whether you’re working, studying, easing into retirement, already retired, or simply have a few spare hours each month, there’s a place for you in our friendly volunteer team,” he said.
“Our roles are broad and interesting: whether it be welcoming visitors, some gardening, helping with the art show or in the retail shop and sharing the stories of our eucalyptus history with visiting tour groups or some irregular admin stuff.
“We’ve had a successful year and are looking to build on the expanding opportunities in tourism with our growing band of volunteers. Of course volunteers are the backbone of our success.”
This morning’s morning tea is from 10.30am and potential volunteers can also contact Mr Baud or committee member Pauline Wellman.
