BOORT'S Bradley Haw has claimed a world record - paddling 67km along the Murray River in a giant pumpkin.
His world record attempt will now await verification from the Guinness Book of Records.
The giant pumpkin was carved out and adjusted for the journey as Bradley and his support crew set off on Good Friday and finally broke the existing record distance three days later.
This week's Loddon Herald has details of the epic journey with Bradley talking about the challenges of steering the pumpkin.
