Polling booths have opened across the Loddon on federal election 2022.

Democracy sausages are being sold at Bridgewater and Inglewood for those opting to vote today.

More than 40 per cent of the Mallee electorate have already cast their votes at pre-poll or by post.

Some polling has predicted a large swing against sitting Nationals MP Anne Webster.

The Loddon Herald will tonight have a special update on Mallee voting live on our facebook page about 8pm.
