BOORT Trotting Club has asked Harness Racing Victoria to allocate a third meeting to the track this year.

President John Campbell said the club had staged two successful meetings in January and March but now faced waiting almost a year for another meeting.

“We have again proven that Boort runs top meetings and attracts good crowds. We’ll see what HRV says,” he said.
