Bernie on deck helping students
NEW students at one Loddon school are being guided in the early years by one of the region’s longest-serving classroom specialists.

Bernie Zimora has started her 32nd year on the staff at Inglewood Primary School where she is supporting students in prep, Years 1 and 2.
“We can all attest to her kind and caring nature,” said principal Rebecca Luckman.
“Every year, Bernie continues to make a very positive contribition to our younger students and creates memories everyone holds fondly.
“Bernie is a dedicated member of the staff and makes a positive impact across the school community.”
Meanwhile, another long-time activity for Inglewood students has started its 20th year with the first visit of 2026 to Inglewood and Districts Health Service hostel.
Mrs Luckman said a special celebration was being planned for later in the year to mark the strong connection between school and the hostel.
