Comedic actors bring on the belly laughs
1 min read

BBAC stormed the stage this past weekend, performing four shows of Love or Nearest Offer to delighted audiences as part of the Loddon Arts Trail in Boort.
Director and actor Fiona Hall said: “The crowd loved it—belly laughs everywhere.”
Lead actors Bradley and Karen Haw had everyone in stitches with their sharp, hilarious delivery.
Bradley joked: “Playing used car salesman Reg was a blast—turns out matching lonely-hearted people at an introduction agency isn’t that different from moving pre-loved cars… both need a bit of charm, some detailing, and a lot of persuasion.
“But being part of this bigger arts project? That was the real highlight.”
The Yando-based amateur threatre group received funding from the Victorian Government and support from the Look Over the Farm Gate mental health platform for the four-show season.
Fiona said audiences also got an important message from Chris Powers, chaplain at Kerang College, who, in a fun twist, doubled as Jason in the comedy.
Bradley and Fiona are already scheming a “sequel scene” for the Yando Christmas even.
“Because clearly, laughter and a good story, is too good to stop at just one weekend,”
Fiona said.
