WEDDBURN swimming pool came alive to the sounds of splashing water and the cheers of the Wedderburn College sport houses Jacka and Ansett on Friday.

All day was a battle for victory with intense laps that saw the house colours of yellow and blue traversing the length of the swimming pool at speed.

While the senior students battled it out among themselves for the victory, there was also a touch of friendly rivalry with the senior students of both houses supporting the younger students in their races regardless of house orientation.
