Ann-Marie takes voices from van to the board
ANN-MARIE Davis will represent local tourism operators on the new Destination Greater Bendigo and Loddon board.

The owner of Little Sangria food van and pioneer of the Flavours of Loddon pop-up food festivals from Campbells Forest will act as Loddon’s voice at the board table.
“As business operators you know your product, your customers and your community,” she told Loddon operators last week.
“What regional tourism bodies can help with is something slightly different: positioning what we already do well so that visitors see it as a reason to travel, stay longer and spend more.
“The DGBL Board will soon support the development of a new destination management plan that will guide tourism priorities and funding into the future. That means our voice, alignment and participation as businesses matters.
“Paid partnership with DGBL isn’t just about a listing. It connects you into campaigns, industry development opportunities, data and broader distribution channels, and it gives Loddon a stronger collective voice.” Ann-Marie has encouraged Loddon operators to become part of the new destination tourism body.
“We are stronger when we show up together,” said Ann-Marie.
Ann-Marie is also deputy chair of Inglewood and Districts Health Service.
