HUNDREDS of farmers have protested in Melbourne against government plans to string high-voltage renewable energy transmission lines across prime agricultural land.
They demanded the Federal and State Government listened to their voices and look at other options to VNI West that will run through the Loddon Shire.
Local farmers were part of the protest on the steps of Parliament House as a convoy of more than 60 tractors and prime movers circled the building.
