An era ends as kinder closes after 60 years
WEDDERBURN Pre-School Centre has farewelled its last students.

Six decades after the community established the kindergarten and raised funds to build facilities in Reef Street, it was time to wave goodbye ahead of a new era of early childhood learning in the town.
A State Government early learning centre co-located at Wedderburn College has been built and will open next February.
The centre followed a community campaign for child care in the town with the Government including kinder sessions.
Loddon Shire earlier this year decided to close the Wedderburn kindergarten. It continues four other centres in the shire.
