AM recipient: Pharmacist well known to Wedderburn
EMERITUS Professor Colin Chapman has been made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to pharmacy and pharmaceutical science research, education and practice.

Professor Chapman, of New Gisborne, is an occasional relieving pharmacist at Wedderburn where he owns property.
He headed Monash University’s faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science between 2007 and 2010 and previously at University of New England and James Cook University. He spent 15 years as director of the Australian Pharmacy Research Centre
Professor Chapman served in the Therapeutic Goods Committee, Commonwealth Department of Community Services and Health between 1988 and 1995.
Other service includes being president of Heritage Sheep Australia since 2015 and the Uniting Church.
Professor Chapman received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Victorian Excellence Awards, Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Victorian Branch in 2024.
