LODDON communities have again been generous with support of local RSL sub-branches through the annual sale of Anzac tokens to assist veterans and their families.
Boort president Paul Haw said more than $2700 had been collected while Wedderburn president Roger Paterson was pleased with $3600 in token sales this year.
Michael Hobson was re-elected Inglewood-Bridgewater sub-branch president at last week’s annual meeting with Barry Hughes vice-president, Bill Concol secretary and Kevin Stewart treasurer. Barry is also appeals officer and Steve Gartside membership officer.
