UPDATE: The CFA Issued a community alert for a crop and stubble fire at Laanecoorire before it was declared safe this afternoon.
About 22 hectares were burned.
Thirteen CFA units were fighting the fire near corner of corner of Bridgewater Maldon road and Angel Rd.
The fire was reported about 1.32pm.
The alert says smoke may be visible.
Units are also responding to a fire at McIntosh.
