THERE were 36 active COVID cases in the Loddon Shire, according to latest State Government figures released this evening.

Five new cases were added to the shire's total in the figures.

All new cases have been allocated to the Bridgewater district postcode where there are currently 13 active cases.

Loddon's daily and active case numbers have been declining this week.
