MOLLY Meadows was celebrating last week when she completed her trainee certificate three in business studies.
She has spent the past 18 months studying and working in a collaboration between North Central LLEN and Northern District Community Health.
A face of youth engagement across the Loddon and adjoining shires, Molly has been part of organising teams for events including this month’s Buloke Loddon Gannawarra Youth Awards and the Engage-FReeZA activities in local towns.
“The 12-month course has been lots of fun, learning skills on the job in the collaboration between the two organisations,” Molly said.
“I’m enjoying working with our local youth and running events ... I’ve always loved event co-ordination and planning.
“The role with North Central LLEN and Northern District Community Health is a bonus.” Molly, of Boort, who started the traineeship last year after returning from two months touring Britain.
She had spent the previous two years working at the Boort and Wycheproof Community Pharmacy.
“I’m looking forward to continuing the work with young people across the regions,” Molly said.
