STATE Emergency Service volunteers yesterday morning winched a car from receding water on Korong Creek.
Five people in the car travelling in Scott’s Lane, Wedderburn, called for assistance when water touched the distributor and the vehicle stalled.
Wedderburn SES, police and Korong Vale Fire Brigade were called about 9.48am. An SES volunteer said the water was flowing at a “meandering pace and 300mm deep”.
