Three ambulance community officers at Boort have received service medallions and awards at an Ambulance Victoria presentation ceremony last week. Dee Smith, Vikki Couper and Tamara Boyd were presented with their 20-year long service medals 20-year safe driving award. They were founding members of Boort Community Emergency Response (CERT) team 2003. In 2016, the team transitioned to an Ambulance Community team with the addition of a stretcher capable ambulance vehicle and expanded response area.
