Dunolly police have this afternoon confirmed they intercepted a vehicle travelling at 140kmh in a 100kmh zone in Llanelly.

Police said checks on the driver also showed that he had a suspended Queensland licence.

They said the driver would receive two fines totalling $1618 for the alleged offences earlier this month.
