Youngsters lead way
LODDON communities have raised more than $16,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
And helping drive the local fundraising total were dozens of youngsters who enthusiastically joined in doorknocking and rattling appeal tins.
They were family and friends of fire brigades in Bridgewater, Inglewood, Korong Vale and Tarnagulla on the job throughout the morning.
At Inglewood, appeal co-ordinator Joe Watts praised the role local children had played in the appeal.
