Wildly important goals
ST MARY’S Primary School Inglewood is implementing its Wildly Important Goals initiative this year.
The school’s 30 students will experience the goals of Every Child, Every Day; Every Child Reading and Every Family Connected.
Principal Kim Carter said: “We’ve had a smooth start to the year and are excited to implement our 2022 Wildly Important Goals.
“We’re looking forward to connecting more with our community members throughout the year as restrictions continue to ease,” she said.
“We’ve implemented a daily community reading session which involves all members of our community, children, parents and staff, coming together in the morning for a dedicated reading session.
“The community reading time will help us form connections, a love of reading and has an ultimate goal of improved student outcomes given the disruptions of the previous couple of years.”
The school has two foundation year students Harry Birthisel and Hazel Ash.
New staff at St Mary’s this year are Tayla Fenwick and Adele George.
