Top jazz this weekend
Charlton Arts is hosting Jazz in July this Sunday at 1:30pm. The ever-popular Hot B’Hines, well known for their high-quality performances, will play a mix of blues and traditional jazz.
Having played together for over 30 years, their repertoire is extensive, and they never fail to
entertain a crowd. The performance will take place at the Charlton Park Community Complex which provides a very comfortable and acoustically pleasing venue. The bar will be open and afternoon tea is provided.
Secretary of Charlton Arts Carolyn Olive says: “We are delighted that the Hot B’Hines
will be back in town. They have been regular visitors to Charlton over many years and have a large following in the local district and beyond. Their performances are always enthusiastic and their obvious delight at playing music together is infectious.”
Charlton Arts is also in the early stages of planning the 2023 Film Festival after a two-year hiatus.
Carolyn says, “We are really looking forward to welcoming our film festival regulars back to the Rex, it’s a terrific event and showcases our beautiful theatre to people from all over the state.”
Tickets for Jazz in July are $15 and are available from the Charlton Neighbourhood House or online at https://events.humanitix.com/jazz-in-july-kfegdcmx
