Tom steps up

TOM BROWN has returned a winner from his first campdraft competition since moving up from juvenile ranks.

Tom, 18, of Bridgewater, won the encouragement draft at Cobram Campdraft last weekend in the hotly contested event for riders aged over 17 that haven’t previously won an open age event.

Tom had one of his best runs to date scoring 87 points out of a possible 100 to take out the event against 30 adult competitors, many of them more than twice his age.
