Storm plan first
REGIONAL Roads Victoria has been criticised by Loddon Shire councillors for failing to have discussions on kerb and channelling maintenance linked to stormwater management.
The council last week adopted its first stormwater asset management plan that shows an initial $5 million shortfall maintaining stormwater pits and pipes over the next 10 years.
Manager assets and infrastructure David Southcombe said renewal modelling expenditure projections using existing data “suggests the network is in very poor condition requiring significant investment to improve performance”.
