Step up to keep show

THERE are fears the Loddon’s only agricultural show will falter without more volunteers.

Show society president Madeleine Scott has put out an urgent call out to the community for people to step up and fill key roles in organising the event.

““If we don’t get more of our roles filled, it’s going to be a struggle ...and the show may not happen in October,” Madeleine said.

Madeleine said there was enthusiasm for the 134th show to be staged after two years of COVID postponements.

“We have had some people who were part of the team but are now occupied with other pursuits,” she said.

“Many of our people are also older so we actually need to find more people to keep the show running.”
