Step up call on child, aged care
STATE and Federal Governments had to support establishment of child and aged care facilities in the Loddon, said Western Victoria Region MP Stuart Grimley.
Mr Grimley last week met with members of Wedderburn Lions Club and the town’s working committee to establish an early learning centre and daycare in the town.
The Lions club has long advocated for an aged care facility and has financial pledges towards a centre.
“The local community is clearly passionate about where they live,” Mr Grimley said.
“They love their hometown and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. But they are being let down by a lack of services. "
